well its that time...throw out bearing screaming like nails on a chalkboard and the horrible smell of metal on metal. time to change the clutch. i was wondering if any of you guys have some helpful hints on this swap. i just ordered a FRMS clutch assembly. is there anything else that i should replace or look for while i am into the driveline. thanks in advance. aaron

I would replace the clutch arm and the pivit ball. Not real sure what the real name for it is but replace those while it is apart.

Good Luck

He's talking about the clutch fork. I got a heavy duty one with my kit for an extra $35. I think the throwout bearing usually comes with the kit, but make sure you got it and it's a good idea to change the pilot bearing, while you're in there, too!
Think about the flywheel, too. If you can afford it, go for the aluminum one ($250-350), if not get a new steel one for about $100.

Change out the pilot bearing and the rear main seal while you're there. It's cheap and you already have everything apart.
