I need to know what type of trailer hitch/setup you guys have on your mustangs/cobras. Just need the simple questions answered, like, where you found it, approx. price, and if I will not have a problem bolting it up myself, or whatever you do with those. I kind of need these answers rather quickly, so any help from anybody is appreciated.

Several of the guys have one that mounts under the bumper. Post something on the mail list and they should reply. I can't remember the details. Tom Gentry has one, I think. Maybe one of the other Mystic guys, too.

Just a thought but U haul sells a very nie setup for the mustang that is very nice and not very noticable. You might want to give your local U haul a call. Good luck

Hazman has one on his car. You may want to send him a note with your questions

Bought mine from Towing Products in FL. 407-260-6360

It is a DrawTite Sportframe hitch part # 24687. Cost $64.01
For the lights I ordered the T-one Connector Part # 18326 Cost $9.17
Shipping $14.25

Uses 4 bolts. Two are replacements for bumper brace bolts. You just take the old ones out put the hitch in place and put the new ones in. Then mark where the other two are on the bumper. Trying to drill a hole was a pain. I finally paid U-haul $25.00 to drill the holes. They use a nut attached to a piece of flexible metal to slid inside the bumper and then run the bolts in. Those pieces of flex are driving me nuts right now because they vibrate in harmony with the engine at 2600-2800 RPM!! ARRGH. I am going to try a spray in rubber/foam material this weekend to quiet it I hope. Otherwise it is tucked up tight and not real noticeable.

Good Luck:thumbsup:

Reese makes on I ordered then cancelled some time ago. Dennis McCrary (poolman) has one on his 2003 Cobra.
