I've seen all I need to see. I'm going to plan "B".

A hillclimb is a race up a mountain - done like WRC only on pavement - basically a race that requires you to go as fast as possible (100+) on roadds designed to travel at 25 mph...

it is VERY exciting to drive in AND watch....

Why not save a couple of hundred $$$$$. Let Jim get these dates firm and let the club members decide on a Road Atlanta date. They might want to see an AI race also.:D

The problem is show schedules and what he has down there dowesn't mesh with the Atlanta show. If members want to go and watch or participate at the NASA evnts then that's fine but we cannot move the SE show that late in the year. We have other shows to fit in besides the Atlanta show. All the rest of the dates are pending on the SE date and we cannot do it in August. Maybe if there is something in May or so then we can adjust...

I suppose we should start practicing now if it is at Snowshoe in WV. That is only about 45 minutes from the house! Probably could not get that luckt though!

It is the new 'back entrance' road to Snowshoe resort - it has an awesome stretch that will get some of us well over 100mph (on a road designed for 25mph!!!) - talk about pucker factor!!!

and the view is friggin' awesome!!!!

Hey Jim,

I have never done a hillclimb, but am VERY excited. Those roads up there are awesome. What HPDE level do you need to be? THanks

We all spend alot of time there. I will check it out in the next couple of weeks! Cheat mountain is a rough place! Is it going to be a spectator event? Can we run Hoovys new car there? OOPS!

Man, two trips to Road Atlanta and one to Roebling Road. Good gravy! That's awesome, I am only hoping I can race on these weekends too, shoot if I can't I might still make the trek to watch. Man oh man oh man oh man Road Atlanta and Savannah! Very happy for you guys and this Kenny Brown announcement on theracesite.com - my reason for dropping by (no info here?) - sounds like you guys continue to prosper, congratulations!
