Looking for advice.

I have a 2001 Cobra Coupe with mild modifications, see sig.
I would like to improve the cars handling on road courses but maintain it as a daily driver.

I read alot about suspension kits for mustangs. Will my Cobra benefit from these kits or is the OEM Cobra that much better than the mustang GT's?

Note, I have no interest in the dragstrip only road course and this
is just a growing hobby. (2 - 3 outtings a year).

Please add your two cents regarding suspension mods and/or your experiences with suspension mods.

p.s. The wheel and tire upgrade is already in the planning stages.
Looking at the Steeda Ultra Lite II (17x9).

Thanks for the Help.

Mods: K&N FIPK, Pullies, Pro-M 80mm Mass Air, MagnaFlow mufflers, Eibach ProKit lowering springs, FRPP 4.10 gears, Tri-X Shifter, 1" Rear Wheel spacers and other nonperformance related appearance items. Battery Relocation kit & Stainless Brake lines are in route for Xmas.

No, the Cobras stock suspension is only marginally better than the GT, primarily because it has IRS and the GT doesn't. Other than that their suspensions are nearly identical.

Check the 'Suspension Tech' forum for ideas on what you can do. They can get you going in the right direction to increase the handling without affecting the ride quality too much.
