Look in the latest MMFF mag, February issue, for the Boss 351 V10 Mustang. Precursor to next "R" beyond the 2000?

Maybe the next Cobra engine? Check it out.

I have been talking about this for about 3 weeks now on a couple of the mail lists. I would hope with the reduced cost, ease of production, N/A power/torque they would at least try it out in 06

They had a lot of good things to say about that car. I wonder what a V-10 weighs??

well if take the weight of a 4.6 aluminum block engine and divide it by 8 you will know the aprox weight of each complete cyl. Then multiply that number by 10. ;)

Or you can multiply the total weight of a current 4.6 by 1.25 and come up with the same number..... :rotf:

I saw that article. I was a little concerned about the odd-fire of the cylinders. I'm all for more hp/torque. Why not put the Ford GT 5.4 S/C 500 hp/500 lbs torque in the new Cobra? Parts may be more plentiful. It would be easier to work on. It would be easier to fit into the engine compartment and would bolt up to a Tremec.

I decided that after my stock 302W goes out in my 94 Cobra that I'm going to either replace it with a 2004 Cobra engine and wiring or a V-10 thingy. ;)
