I saw the show about the new shelby cobra last night after sbucks.

Just as I thought, they rushed the project to make sure it got done while Mr. Shelby is still around. Didn't look like he had a lot of input into the car as expected.

Does look cool but also sort of like the new T-bird, at least from the front. Certainly fast with the v-10 from the mule mustang.

I don't see how Ford can make a shelby cobra and mustang cobra in the same year so it will be interesting to see want happens in 06 or 07.

Yeah I remembered to tune in "Rides" last night and caught the Shelby Build. Here is what me thinks. The next gen Cobra Mustang will be no match for the Shelby,in either performance or price. With the new Corvette price tag of $45,000 for the coupe and mid 50's for the Zo6.If the new Cobra come's out with 500 hp SVT will see to it that it is priced competitive with the Z06.Also, The M-Cobra will be close, but the S-Cobra( $$$$) will show this ain't horseshoes. And finally the V-10 Mule is the next Cobra-R:thumbsup:

Last night's show on TLC was the greatest hour of television ever........The new shelby cobra is BAD ASS!!! I loved it. Watching 81 year old Carroll Shlby doing donuts in that thing was priceless...........There is no way that car is going to be 50 G's... Now he needs to work on the next Mustang Shelby GT500 before he croaks....

No,it won't be 50 G's.That is chump change. It will be way north of the 50's, also did you know that he is building the "gone in 60 seconds "Eleanore" Mustang which is a true GT-500? These car's are being screwed together at Sanderson & Associates in Plano, Tx. By the way Ole Shel owns most of the Banks in Plano.

I loved the new Shelby Cobra. I was thinking that it might be priced closer to 100Gs, but would love to see it priced right around $50,000.

I saw pictures of the Mustang GT, Ford GT, and Cobra all in silver with matching stripes. Has anyone seen pics of the three together?

Contacts I have At Rousch Say to expect $100K +For the new Shelby. The new Gt and 06-07 Cobra will display their own version of extreme sticker shock, especially if all I hear is incorporated in the next gen Cobra:doubt:
