Looking for some advice or if anyone has experience with these tire size's on the cobra. How they look and fit. I am buying 17x9.5 inch Cobra R wheels for the front and 17x10.5's for the back. Do you think I will have any issues with the fronts rubbing or the backs sticking out to far? Any pictures of the above sizes on a 99-01 cobra would be appreciated.

I have 275/35 18's on all four. I haven't had any problems with the fronts rubbing and as far as the rears go, I don't think they would stick out too far at all. Check out the car of the month (Willie Deans cobra) on this site, I'm pretty sure he's got that size on his rears and he's got a bunch of pics.

Thanks for the heads up on Willie Deans cobra. I checked it out and yes they are 315x35's. the fronts are255/40's. They look great, and that is the look I am going to go for. I may have to lower the car about an inch though.

Here's an excellent write-up, and may be what you are looking for. I'm not sure in the difference in the '03s IRS and yours, but check this out anyway.......it may help.

Just as long as you have the backspacing to clear the IRS bolt, you're golden. I didn't, and needed a 1/4" spacer. :(
