I'm 6 days away from getting my 2001 cobra. Wanting to put inserts in the cobra lettering in back. There are so many out there. My cobra is black. Does anyone have some advice on which ones to get?

hey Spiffy, your tag is expired:D ! You live in Dallas, but have NC tags, what's up with that?

mtb01, you are in luck, two of our sponsors do inserts, one is Scott Winger Stainless Steel inserts which spiffy already posted, the other is Fordpower.net store which does vinyl inserts. Both appear on the banners on the top of the page. SW design http://www.stainlessbumperletters.com/ or Fordpower.net http://www.fordpower.net/xcart

IMO, those are the best place to get the stainless steel or vinyl inserts. Fordpower also has the best prices on vinyl, I have been using them since before they became a sponsor. They use the high $$ long life vinyl but charge less than the competitions cheaper vinyl.

since spiffy showed you the SS inserts, here are the vinyl silver...

Never been a big fan of the stainless. They usually don't mold to the body and end up at slightly different angles.

Bartman01. What would you recommend then for inserts?

Vinal - either white, silver, or other light color that matches your overall paint/trim - they mold to the body.

Exact opposite opinion here....never been a fan of the vinyl...they just look cheap.

The Stainless ones from Scott Winger look great on any color car and give a greater depth than the stickers. Nothing but compliments from everyone who sees them.

But.....these are all opinions....so take them for what they're worth.

Go stainless! I have a black 97 with the vinyl and as soon as the bumper gets repainted I am switching. Don't get me worng, the vinyl looks good, but the stainless just looks bad@$$ with a black car. Just my .02

Firme:  gorgeous!
