I just got back from the dyno. I only put down 450.6 RWHP and 415.5 RWTQ. I was about to blow up my little SQ blower. It was like the car was not trying. I guess the 8:4 compression has something to do with it. But I am pissed off about the # though it would be higher. That was only at 9 PSI

What was your A/F ratio and timing?

My "little" SQ blower is giving me 570 rwhp at only 6,700rpm with 18 degrees of timing and an A/F of 11.6:1. Of course that is at 16psi of boost :)

I was running like 15 timing. Belt is slipping on the pulley. I think the blower is screwed saw a puddle of oil under it when i came home tonight. I'll check it in the morning.

With such low compression you should be able to run a bit more timing than that. I'm at 10:1 compression and I can run 18 degrees on 93 octane pump gas.

Check you pulley alignments, make sure the belt isn't slipping, or other issues. At 16psi I'm having no slipping issues at all, I can't see why you would at 9psi. Check your oil feed and oil return lines as well, that could be where you oil leak is coming from.

My setup is..

Vortech SQ SC-trim
Upgraded impeller
3.33" pulley
powerpipe

I can drop down to the 3.125" pulley before I max out the blowers capabilities (before overspinning the blower). That would put me at about 18psi.

I don't have a intercooler. He said that was part of my problem the intake air temp was high. I am just going to run it the way it is now. In a few months I am going to put a T76GTS turbo on it and go back up there and get some real #.:firedevil

I'm not running an intercooler/aftercooler either.....
