The weather page at the FFW website shows Saturday as pretty much a washout. I imagine their weather service link is the same as the major local TV outlets. The way I look at it is whatever it is tomorrow am is what it is is what it is

It's 1:00 am and it's raining outside now. I'm just getting off work, so I think I'll sleep in.

5 am and it's lightning/thundering out....hope it keeps up all morning/day so no one comes to the pool. :D

Also heard the TV give off a Tornado warning for the coast....hope there are no "flying" Mustangs. :(

on the edit: HOLY COW....there's a strobe light going off in the sky.

The last time there was a rain out on Saturday was the 1994 event(as I remember) we have been doing FFW as long as it has been around. Sunday turned out to be a sunny but very cool day. The largest group of racers was True Street. Street outlaw, tough truck and the super quick classes had not been invented at this point.True street 's driving portion(street tour) had to be shortened. They did get the Race in but it took all day for the one class. The car show will go on no matter what. But since no one can do anything about the weather expect a long registration line tomorrow. What they will do racing wise is get as much in as possible, namely :doubt: most of the amatures and as many pro's as possible. The remaining Pro's will move on to the next event.

Thanks for the info, John. I didn't even think about the super long lines tomorrow for registration, ugh, sounds like sleeping in would be more fun! It poured cats and dogs up here since about 2:30 this am and lots of lightning (makes me nervous now) and thunder and wind. But all is quiet now and I think it has moved on out. Tomorrow should be a nice day out, not too warm

Hope you found a place to stay dry, Stan. Couldn't believe you and Henry and others were out there!!! What hard core racers you guys must be :) cya all tomorrow.

Too bad my car almost stalled out twice going through flooded streets on my way to work this morning. Was going through my second "high water" section and the voltmeter went about dead and the wipers went 1/2 the speed they were supposed to go. I just had to give it more gas and hope no water would come creeping through the doors......but then I could get an '03. ;)

The rain sucked, but no one came to the pool today so I got paid to sit around my behind.
