Here's some shots of the stripped down car. The bumper absorbers took almost all of the force, the inner aprons are still straight, the rad. support is straight, fender gaps, door gaps, etc, etc.......... It's not that bad!
Things are moving along nicely....w/ insurance company, and our body shop.
Our parts and service director personally assurred me that the car would be perfect before it leaves....... PERFECT! he emphasized..

So ........yeah........ don't take your eyes off the road in this town even for a split second(to put your coffee down to shift) or that moving line of traffic could all of a sudden stop,...... ever see how fast a car can stop w/o using the brakes(zero skid marks)...................... when they run it into a stopped car it stops REALLY fast!!! :doubt:
Thanks for all the kind comments .... I should be back in circulation soon...
Enjoy this beautiful time of year!!!

Yea ..... It's time................. the Ford one is $576.48 the Gords fan ready, w/o the fans is$425.00 + freight.

Since the the bent one isn't leaking I torn about how to handle this... no way do I want to get accused of insurance fraud.... I could let them hang the old one and keep the gords on a separate transaction, or just wait and put it in myself.... $1000.00 deductable took a little bite out of the monthly budget though.

It does need a new bracket... they will be putting that on.

Body shop manager said there was a way to do it with that big deductable that would not be fraud..... hope so much rather do it all at once...

I'm starting to feel stronger and stronger as the days go by....
Been off the Hep-C meds over a week now....

I'm SOOOO looking forward to seeing how I do(lap times) at a track event, compared to you veterans..... Maybe we could truck in some ice....LOL just to turn the tables a little.

I'll keep Y'all posted as things progress..... thanks for caring :)

Jimmy
