Wow waht a fun time! Just got home and I am pretty tired. This was a cool event and I will go back for sure. This time with roll bar in place. The fastest run was a vette with twin turbos 188 MPH. My good buddy David let me drive his car a bunch of times and it is such a great handling car. I had never been 167 MPH before. His car really flies. There were some bikes on Saturday I think were in the high 180's maybe 190 range. They are unbelivably fast. We need to do this as a club event maybe in October when it is cooler. They will host another event in late july and the one in October. Going that fast is such a rush I cant begin to describe. David's car went down that mile probably at least 15 times I think. I lost count but the motor was perfect. Our third member who was with us experienced the same issue with his motor as I did at TWS. For those of you who know me then you know what i am talking about. I want discuss his problems but it ends with another tune that th driver thought was safe from one of the local shops. Point being I sure am glad that my car was reflashed by Chris Johnson from Super Chips. SCMC gang you need to do this in October  There was some really great people there and the people who put on the event were great. :)

I had a great time also......The best speed I had was 167.8.... :D We had a 15-20 mph head wind that did not help us. I was in 5th gear at 6500 rpm  Also we found out the speedo in the car is way off. It read 165 and our true speed was 153 :(
We need to have some more Cobra people out there....

Are you offering to cool the rest of us as well if we go?

Stan, I have a/c but If I am going to run it all out top speed I'd rather not use it!

It blows colder than a Witch's (insert body part here) in a brass bra!
