Looking to come up with a front splitter for 98 Cobra's. I see that abcexclusive (http://www.abcexclusive.com/bodykits.htm#abc800) has a Part# abc 801 fs/co, front spoiler. Looking for something that looks good on a 98 and works like a 2000R splitter. Do you all think if a lip was added, that it would make this spoiler into a Splitter?

Stan, I think that lip spoiler looks good... how much would it help? Not sure....

If you could extend the lower lip out with aluminum like airfoil from underneath it might help down force.

ABC makes one and it looks good. Just need to be able to remove the splitter part for loading car onto trailers, etc. That why I was looking at ABC 801 fs/co, so I can adapt it into what I needed it to-do...

Stan,

I bought one for my 95 GT from Team Shinoda. Here's a link to a before and after pic (at the bottom of the page):

Pretty much a bolt-on mod after painting. Fit was good, they make one for the Cobra here:

P/N info (ts-1081) Cobra Chin Spoiler (94 to 98 Cobra only)

Stan,

One more note, if you do go with the Team Shinoda chin spoiler, make sure to ask them for the "high speed" install kit. Explain to them that every once in a while you get to go 135mph plus (not sure how fast your car is on the straight!) at TWS and you don't want the thing coming off. What you'll get is a set of body screws to attach the thing with vs. some other attachment solution (not sure what that is?).

Either way, I haven't run the car at TWS yet to see if the thing actually helps keep the car nose down or not, I don't hit above 110mph at MSR.

"high speed" install kit, Thanks.
I thought I would try somethings, you never know it may just work in helping down force.

Also tell them to add some more carbon fiber to the mold....It cost $70 extra. It's good up to a (real) 168 mph without any problems :D Also add some braces see pic
At TWS my car felt better in turn 1&2 and 7&8 with the spoiler.
