Does anyone have any experience with the EBC Greenstuff brake pads?
I just bought a set for the front brakes on my '01 Cobra. I will post my
observations when I have some. (Tirerack.com $87 delivered) :D

edit: Installed 6/24/04

Me Again, Just a quick update. The EBC Greenstuff pads are working out very good. After a few weeks of city driving the pads have seated nicely. The initial (slight pressure) response is smooth. The pads don't bite hard until you apply some brake pedal pressure then they grab hard. Driveability is great. All OEM setup except for braided SS front lines. Too early to tell how brake dust is. I won't know track performance until Gingerman in September. :bounce:

Did u buy the EBC for track use or primarily street? I was told the cheapies at AutoZone or O'Reillys are good enough for just street use. :dunno:

I bought the Greenstuff pads for primarily street with some track time.
EBC has four different pads. Green, Red, etc. Different pads have different
applications. Living in Michigan, I didn't want a racing pad that only works well when hot. My car sees the track 1 - 2 times a year. Check out
www.ebcbrakes.com
See www.tirerack.com for a better description of the pads.

For anyone who wants to buy greenstuff ebc's try Laurel Mountain Mustang. Front and rears for a 98 Cobra $130.00..that's $65.00 a set. I have a set on my and after intial break in seem to work well. Rears are not on yet.

Pad update:
The EBC Greenstuff pads have great feel and stopping power.
I would recommend them except for the brake dust. They are
advertised as low dust? My non-aggressive city driving creates
a considerable amount of brake dust in just days. I would go
weeks to months on the OEM pads without this much dust.

Interesting that you're experiencing a lot of "dusting". I considered the EBC pads for my wife's LX but couldn't find a consensus opinion on them. Seems some people love them and others hate'em. I decided to go with the Hawk HPS pads but haven't gotten them on the car yet. I'm hoping they're better than the PF "Z" pads as far as the dust. I'll let you know how they work out.

UPDATE after Gingerman Raceway Event.

On Track the EBC Greenstuff brake pads were no better or worse than the
original OEM pads. My brakes stayed firm all day and worked smooth.
Unfortunately, in one track day, they significantly damaged my rotors. Both front rotors are deeply grooved. This did not happen last year using the OEM pads. In my opinion the EBC Greenstuff pads
are OK for street but not suitable for On-Track events. Oh' well live and
learn. Now, lets find some new rotors!
