Ok, for those of you who don't remember or where not here, we have had a few drooling posts over the Koenigsegg swedesh super car.

It sports a "Koenigsegg" motor which in all aspects is a redone and refined COBRA motor (or a 32 Valve DOHC Modular if you will). Their supercar, the CC 8S, had a Vortech supercharged 32V motor done all over with Carbon Fiber.

...well NOW, they make a HIGHER Performing Super Car called the CCR

The specs are
Type: V8 cast aluminium, 4 valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts. Cam cover of carbonfibre.
Displacement: 4.700 cm3.
Compression: 8.6:1
Weight: 215 kg
Lubrication system: Dry sump with unique oil spray piston cooling. Oil cooler.
Oil: SAE 5 W/30 fully synthetic racing.
Oil tank capacity: 12 litres (2.64 gallons)
Induction system: Sequential, multipoint fuel injection. Lysholm twin-screw supercharger with 1.2 bar boost pressure. Intercooler.
Fuel: 98 RON unleaded.
Ignition system: Direct coil on plug. Transistorised.
Power output: 806 bhp at 6.900 rpm.
Maximum torque: 920 Nm (678 ftlb) at 5.700 rpm.
Maximum rpm: 7.600 rpm.

it uses a

Lysholm Twin Screw to make that kind of power.

I wonder if there is a simple way to stick one on the 03/04, cause It sure as hell looks like good competition for the KB

Power output: 806 bhp at 6.900 rpm.
Maximum torque: 920 Nm (678 ftlb) at 5.700 rpm
Compressor boost pressure: max. 1.3 bar
Compressor displacement: 3.3 L/REV/1.165CFM/REV.

eh, just me doing some hypothetical daydreaming :dunno:

I still want to trasplant that engine into my car.

That is one HAWT car. I wish Top Gear would do a review of that one instead of the "wuss" 655hp version...man I love that car.

:doubt: Edmund it won't work. This is the base Supercharger used in all Saleen S281's. It's base is supplied for the GT 2V motors.

This "Carbon Figer" you speak of. Is it better than Carbon Fiber?

:D

That may be so if we were talking about the S281 blower, but if you read over what I posted again, these guys have one designed for a 32 Valve DOHC 4.6 (they say 4.7) Litre Modular engine that makes 800 hp, and almost 700ft. lbs. of tq.
