I would like to know if a 11" clutch from a 2001/2002 will fit in a 97 cobra?
I would appreciate any help

Hey I'm doing the same thing.

The FRPP M-7060-C46 11" Clutch Upgrade Kit includes everthing you need and it's a bargain at $280, but I'm trying to sub a billet flywheel for the stock nodular iron one that comes with the kit.

I did this swap in my 96 Cobra. The kit I got from Ford included the 11" steel flywheel. The clutch was better than my stock clutch, but I don't know if it was better than my King Cobra Clutch. If you plan to do a lot of track stuff and drive your Cobra a lot, consider something better. Maybe I'm a little tough on hardware, but I finished of my stock clutch within 1 year, my King Cobra clutch lastest a year, and my 11" 99 Cobra clutch lastest a year. Now I need another one. I did learn recently that I had it adjusted a little too tight and that it may have caused premature wear. Keep in mind I've put about 60,000 miles on this car. I drive it daily in traffic as well as on 10+ hr trips regularly. I'm holding out until I get another daily driver and plan to get a racing clutch from Quarter Master next. Also consider the aluminum flywheel, for a slight performance gain.

if you don't have the $$$ to throw around I would suggest going with an 03-04 cobra 11" setup...they come with an aluminum flywheel already.

if you do have the $$$...please send some this way...
