After a little cosmetic work it's looking pretty good, the Cobra is nice and safe in the garage :)

Very nice daily driver... The VW bug has a cult following also. The bug can run forevery. Did you know a bug holds the record for the highest mileage vehicle? Congrats on the bug, you'll really like the vert bug. Any mods planned?

I have quite a few Volkswagens, I follow that cult :) this one makes it 23 VWs so far.
It has a 1776cc with big valve heads, Engle cam, dual carbs, header, etc I estimate around 100 horsepower. I just finished doing disc brakes, urethane bushings, sport springs. I blasted and painted the wheels and put the new Coker wide whites on it, and a bunch of other stuff. Chicks dig it.

Thanks Firme, I was not sure about how the whitewalls would look but I think they look great, gives it a little class.

Very cool & some nice mods...
I used to follow the VW scene a while back. Had a Bug, Baja bug & a sand rail. The sand rail was street legal with 1776cc engine with 040 heads, cam, stinger exhaust, turning brake & weighed around 800 lbs, very fast & lots of fun.
Keep that safe from theives, they are easy to hot wire & steal, lots of $$ for the parts.

Your right they are very easy to steal, here at work Im not worried we have security but everywhere else is another story. I ordered a shifter lock so maybe that will slow the thieves down.
