Being new to the Cobra scene I read that if I replaced the exhaust I would need to add something so my check engine light doesn't come on. What is this part? I'm thinking about adding a cat-back exhaust...so will I need this part to keep my light from coming on? Thanks in advance.

I think as long as you have cats you should be ok. I have flowmaster american thunder catback and bbk x-pipe with high flow cats (not off road) and my check engine light hasn't come on.

I've had no issues whatsoever running Magnaflow Xpipes and cats behind factory headers either. Obviously, your mileage may vary, but no probs here.

You will only need that part (MIL's) if you run without catalytic converters (off-road)
