Sorry.

As far as install. The best thing to do is pull the splash shield back. You can jack the car and crank the wheel to the left or remove it all togther. Everything is right there and easy to install.

http://www.rpmoutlet.com/03macc.htmI would think so, but you may need to un bolt it from the apron or adjust something to make them work togther.
I know some have done it with the Steeda and the K&N FIPK.

Would someone please explain what the MAF adapter in these kits is for ?

I understand what the MAF is/does, but curious what's being done to run an open element filter and why it's needed.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for any help. The MAF adaptor bolts to the square flange of your MAF too allow the use of a clamp on style filter.
Nobody makes a filter that just bolts to the MAF.

If your in stock form, you will need the adaptor and filter to make a complete kit.
Thank
Jay

Thanks, figures it was that simple.

For some reason I was assuming the functionality of the MAF itself was being altered.
