Press Release (December 22, 2004)
Rehagen Racing proudly finished the 2004 Grand-Am Cup season in 6th place in
team points and was instrumental in Ford finishing 3rd place in manufacturer’s
points. The team’s 6th place finish out of 48 series competitors was particularly
impressive as this was Rehagen Racing’s first full-season campaign.
The 2004 season closed with the Lexus Grand American 250 at California
Speedway on October 30th. The #52 Mustang Cobra finished 11th, cementing
Rehagen Racing's reputation for consistent finishing, and capped off a season
highlighted by three podium finishes.
Rehagen Racing would like to acknowledge and thank its hard-working crew and enthusiastic supporters. Successes achieved
this season would not be possible without literally thousands of hours of effort and endless passion for the sport.
Larry Rehagen, Dean Martin and the rest of Rehagen
Racing eagerly anticipate a 2005 season that will excel even
beyond the successes of 2004. Over the coming weeks,
prior to the season opener in Daytona, Florida on February
3 & 4, the team will be making several announcements
about new race cars, drivers, and sponsors. Keep your eye
out for these exciting changes and for more victories in
2005!
