Need to see if anyone has the below tool or something similar I can borrow rather than buying for a one time use.

Jeff, you can drill a bunch of 1/4" holes in the rubber. It takes longer but it works. Shoot Shugg an e-mail, he may have that tool.

If what John said does not work,or there is not enough room to work in, it looks like you could make one fairly easy.

You would need a tube/pipe with a ID larger than the OD of the bushing. A piece of flat stock longer than the OD of the pipe. the stock would need a hole drilled in the center so a bolt could pass through it. Bolt with nut that will fit thourgh the center of the bushing. A couple of flat washers that are smaller in dia. that the bushing that you want to remove.

I could do you a drawing of it if you would like. Probably cost less than $5 to make.

Dammit... and here I was thinking I was coming in here like Mighty Mouse. "HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY!!!!"

And in case you can't tell Jeff... I got the tool in case something happens with the other one. It's still sorta a PITA to change them as you have to take the rear end down (somewhat) out of the car to change them.

HTH,

Shannon

Thanks for the offer Shannon. We're gonna have the back end dropped anyway. New LCA's, new springs, box the stock UCA's and new urathane bushings for the UCAs. Also putting in new springs in the front, CC plates and rotors and pads. gotta get this 94 ready for CMP. :bounce: :bounce:

We'll be attacking this at Robbie's the Sunday after the cookout, so stop by.
