I'm on my way to becoming a Jedi...

Just go back from an 1,100 mile road trip. Went to MS to do my SF Physical. After I passed everything I had to go & interview with the Company Commander. After about 10 minutes, the Commander (Captain) got up from his desk, extended his hand & said, "Welcome on board to the 20th Special Forces Group."

I think I'm going to like it here... alot. http://www.fordpower.net/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I swore in today with the National Guard. God willing, it's going to take me 1.5-2 years to get my tab & beret (green).

For those that aren't familiar with SF, here's a video (Right Click Save As):

Here's a picture after their vacation in Afghanistan. The Jedi's are guys in the funny looking green hats. http://www.fordpower.net/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif

When do ya ship out???I'm not going to be fighting anything but pain, fatigue & hunger for about two years. That's how long the trainning will take before I can earn my tab & beret.

I told you that you better be nice to that F-18A girl because I might be calling her one day... to save my ass when I need an airstrike. :D

Oh I was nice....think I'd do anything to f*ck up the potential for a relationship with her?? Smart, beautiful, goes Mach 1.8+ and loves speed, my car and is a great kisser?? Damn I wish I had done something more with her. :(

Oh well......I'm sure she'd be happy to get you out of a jam Nick

I'm still keeping the house, car & girlfriend so none of you can have any of them.
I will also keep my civilian job until I am sent to the course. The car will go with me then & the gf will be at the house mowing the yard. :D

I'll be around, but if you don't see me, it's because I'm either at the gym or at Memorial Park running/rucking.
