I was wondering why the boost gauge with the vac is less then the boost gauge with out the vac.

and also if someone could recomend any gauges. I heard that Phantom was the better buy for the boost and fuel press.

indiglow gauges if you want it to match your instruments as close as possible
auto meter part number 4103 should be what you need.

the thing i realy need to know is which is a better boost gauge the one with the vac. and boost or just the standard boost gauge.

And any recommodations on any other gauge brand that would be better then phantom.

Having Vacuum is a personal preference; it's not a better or worse situation. I prefer to have vacuum so that I can see the needle move before I'm into boost. I can also see how much vacuum the car is producing at idle.

I have the Autometer Lunar series that James is referring to. Not an exact match to our stock dash, but close.
