Just bought me some H&R Sport Springs. What else do I need to install them myself. Already have tools. Do I even need CC plates? Thanks, Andrew.

you might get by w/o the cc plates, you might not. The two cars we recently did both needed them.
Solid axle car needs no special tools. Back is easy.raise car, set on stands. Jack center of pumpkin for support, disconnect bottom of shocks, lower jack till you can pull springs out. reverse order for install.

For front, basically the same. disconnect anti-roll bar ends, and tie rods ends. Also, loosen anti-lock sensor wire from strut. Disconnect bottom of strut. Lower lca till you can pull old spring. Reverse for install.

Do I need spring dampers or anything?

dampers?? You mean new shocks? Good time to put on new struts and shocks.

You may want some new spring isolaters depending on how old/rotten/torn up yours are.

Oh forgot, on the 94..

be careful of the rear brake line at the pumpkin.

Also forgot, take the quad shocks off for easier access.

Should I get new isolators? Car only has 38k miles on it? Springs will be here any minute. Wanting to install today, but will wait if they are needed. :bounce:

No.

Jeff, I don't think he needs to loosen the tie rods.

Hey John, We did on both my cars so the LCA would go low enough w/o putting too much strain on the steering rack. He may not.

I didn't loosen the tie rods on my 1994 and I put in cc plates, struts, and springs.
