I am making a brake cooling kit now. I will have some pictures of the finished product tomorrow. The kit will include all of the brackets, hardware, and high temp hose. The kit will be $200, and the brackets and hardware only will be $130. They are made of steel and are painted black. I will have them on my car at CMP this weekend and I can bring some with me if anyone is interested. Just let me know.
Thanks, Matt

After sitting down and figuring out exactly how much the cost of the materials and the labor to make the parts I am going to be able to sell these at a much cheaper price than expected. The brackets and hardware only will be $100,and the entire kit with high temp hose will be $165.

Thanks, Matt

Put some on mine today. Great fit and fully functional kit. Blows half into the center of the rotor, and half onto the braking surface, which is great. I've heard that most of the heat is in the center of the rotor.

Great kit! I'll have em at CMP if anyone wants to check em out.

Matt,

I met up with you at CMP on Saturday and took a look at your kit. After seeing how much fun everyone else was having on the track and taking a ride with Tony (Cobrabitn) around the track, I'm definitely going to turn track junkie!:D
I'll pick up a set from you also.

I didn't get the email, but I've now got your number, so I'll give you a call when I've got some extra cash! I can meet you somewhere to pick them up since you aren't that far away, maybe for a little bit cheaper price;) :D
I'll let you know!

I wish someone had a well thought out kit available when I did my home cob job...Sean Hyland's was HUGE MONEY!!!

I highly recommend this inexpensive mod!!!
BUT DON"T FORGET THE FRESH BRAKE FLUID!!!!

for ease of installation...
Remove fog light bezel 1st(03/04) and attach hose then route hose...
Don't waste time trying to attach the hose to the bezel nozzle still on the bumper cover(nearly impossible)
Another "trick"... when drilling the rivets... just drill the "fat part" of the rivet head ... and punch out the rest thought the center... don't try to drill everything out!!!
Drill out the HEAD!
Punch out the center!
And it falls right out!!!

The stock brakes ROCK on these cars!!!
But you will need cooling!!!
And you will need fresh fluid!!!

Guys(who are kick a$$ drivers) with soft compound tires and suspension mods may out drive the stock brakes(legal disclaimer)

ENJOY!!!

Jimmy
