Looks alot better.:thumbsup: :thumbsup: How is the ride now? Looking to lower my 03 and dont want to hurt the ride. I have planned to go with H&R springs instead of Eibach(sp?). Ive used the Eibachs(sp?) before and did not like the ride.

Thanks for the compliments! It handles pretty better now, but I didn't notice any ride difference. I think it would look better just a little bit lower though. :rolleyes: ;) :D

Lookin good :thumbsup: I had H&R's on my '95 and they improved the handling alot without killing the ride.

I've got the H&R Super Sports on mine also and I haven't seen a change in ride comfort. IMO, I think the car rides much better with the H&R's then with stock.

I say go with the H&R's, you won't be sorry!:D :thumbsup:

Whats the difference in the spring rate? has anyone drag raced or autox before an after installing the springs?

According to Maximum Motorsports webpage, the difference in spring rate is as follows;

Stock Mustang approximately 420 lb/in front and 200 lb/in rear

H&R Super Sports 700-760 lb/in front and 685 lb/in rear

Hope this helps out!:thumbsup:

03/04 Cobras:

Front: 600 (coupe), 500 (vert)
Rear: 600 (coupe), 470 (vert)

According to SVT.

I think they might be better suited for autox, the stock spring rate would be more weight transfer friendly for drag racing.....I'm going to save up for coilovers, best of both worlds with thoses.

Very nice look!

Outta curiosity, what kinda numbers did the springs claim to drop? was it 1.5 like most? I love the look, and since i'm lookin for a small drop to close up the wheel well gap a hair (but nothing rediculous), im very interested in H&Rs

H&R claimed 1.6" drop in the front and 1.5" in the rear. I only dropped about 1.25 inches all together because of the insulators. The springs were about $230 from www.tirerack.com :thumbsup:

Yea, their website claims at 2" drop on the front and 1.6" in the back for a 97 cobra vert.....

however...:mad: Tirerack.com doesn't have any springs except eibachs for a 97 cobra vert. Know anywhere else that would carry them?
