Why no "Daily Driver" category? :( I feel pretty sure those of us who drive our cars EVERY day to work and running around town will be hard pressed to compete with those who don't have all the nicks and dings and scratches that accummulate when you haul kids around and park in a high school parking lot (where I work).

Are you going to this show?

The problem we have had with this show is low turnout and when you have that, you have to eliminate classes. That doesn't mean that the day of the show, new classes can't be formed. We just have to look and see what class where all of the cars fall, make sense?

 Thanks, Tony. We're thinking about going. Scott has to swap a day off and then it's a go :D

P.S. I was just giving you a hard time about the sig.

Well... I guess I am everyone's punching bag because if it isn't about the sig, it's about the way the club is run, or my track etiquette. Guess I'll just go crawl back in my hole now. :)

Awwww, come on, Tony. Don't be a :baby: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: You know we only do that because we  you :D Besides, a lot of our members have HUGE sigs! I don't have anything to put in mine :(

Cheryl -- wish I could've come!! wish I lived closer...

anyway - you can still take a daily driver and turn it into one hot looking awesome car ....

I now drive a 99 Rio red mustang yes, a base --
and I have people asking me all the time how I get it so shiny...

shiny? I haven't even done anything with it yet....
guess I'll turn it into a fake snake...
(I'm serious...)

I miss my Mach......

I will be there and I was thinking about spending the night on Saturday so we can go out and eat at a local restaurant. I think Rich Bowden knows some good ones. :)

That sounds like fun! We will be staying at my dad's Friday night and Saturday night Griffin, GA and would be glad to get together for dinner after the show. :)

Bonnie,

That was our best show because it was the first. We/I learned a lot from the show and now we are knocking on the door of a 100 car event.

Maybe you can make the Gingerman show this year?

Sorry, Tony. I've been holding out making reservations, etc. waiting to see about our family's plans. As it turns out, Scott's parents are going to visit from Florida. I'll be really happy :D to see them, but really sad :( to miss the car show. Have plenty of fun (I know you will)! Love you guys!!

I guess a couple more days and you guys will be having a blast with everyone else talking tech and checking out everyones rides!

Sorry I can't make this one, but I have to go to my sister's graduation........see I did it the smart way and stopped going to school so that I wouldn't ruin anyone else's plans to go to another event, but unfortunately she'll be graduating.

Actually Lan and my sister go to the same college so they are both graduating on Saturday!:D

Well I hope everyone has a safe trip and take plenty of pics to share with the rest of us!

Isn't that usually a good thing? :p

Especially for the one having to pay the tuition...

Sounds like Steve has a good number of preregistered people for the show. The weather is calling for hit and miss like it would be for this time of the year. Usually it is evening thunder bumpers but last year it was wet first then dried out by afternoon. Don't let the rain scare you away as we are going to dinner Saturday night and maybe cart racing indoors if everyone is up to it?

I'm staying at the Courtyard for $65.00 a night, that's a pretty good price. Hope some others will come out and make the GA event bigger this year.

Yeah, I'm happy for her. She's graduating this Saturday, getting married June 18th, and right now they're working on getting the house they bought remodeled!

So they're busy with a bunch of things, but atleast after Saturday she can get one thing behind her!

Jen, go to the SCMC website and sign up for the Parkway Ford show in August. Try for another trophy. See you then?

We had a great time. The weather was great and helped make it a good show. I just have to teach my son how to do a better job drawing our raffle tickets out of the basket next time! :rotf: We did get second place though so we do get to bring something home in addition to the Calvin stickers...not to mention the pair of new tires we ended up having to stop and buy at Mooresville Ford on the way down to GA.

Those that didn't go missed a good time. Met several new people (Jen I need your email address so I can send you the pictures of your car) and saw a bunch of great vehicles.

Also wanted to say: Thanks Tony! Enjoyed being able to spend some time with you after the show talking about anything and everything and dinner was great! :D I'll get a CD to you with the 242 pictures after we get home Monday.
