I am looking for "Cobra" inserts for the inside of the hood. Anybody have an idea where I can get them?

Thanks

Yes. When you open your hood, there is "COBRA" on the black heat insulator of the hood. At least it is in my 99 Cobra.

Check Late Model Resoration Supply www.50resto.com (w) . They list 1999-01 Cobra factory replacements. Don't forget to ask for the SCMC discount.

Thanks Wingnuts. However, I am looking for some inserts for the "COBRA" that is embedded on the hood insulator. Please go to Burke Dawson's 1999 convertible picture on the "member cars", and you will see what I'm talking about. I have sent an email to Burke, but have been unable to contact him.

THANKS

That is a mod that you can do yourself. The hood insulators have the "COBRA" on them, you can just paint the letters the color you prefer. After painting make sure you use a water-resistant (scotchgaurd) to keep it looking nice!

Hope this helps!
