Well i need to upgrade my shocks and struts and im going to go with adjustables this time. The three major ones are Koni, Tokico and KYB. Does anyone have any imput one these, which ones ride better, handle, etc, easiest to adjust (location of the adjuster). Plus looking for the best place (price) on these. Oh and just to add i plan on doing a couple of auotcrosses this year and maybe a track day (reason).
(P.S.) i would of posted this in the suspension section but seems like no one ever goes in that forum (Sorry)

thanks in advance

I'm running Tokico 5-way adjustable shocks/struts on my '97 Cobra. I've adjusted them.......never since I've installed them. How easy to adjust?? Stick a flat head screw driver in the groove and turn.

Great shocks/struts but the Koni's are very nice too.

i have koni adjustables and have adjusted mine before. all i have to do is put the little dial knob on it and adjust it from soft to firm. i have put them on firm just to see how it would ride and wow you talking about stiff   i had to stop on a back road and back them off. i usaully run mine alittle bit of 1/4 off soft.
only draw back to koni's is the price.

I've got the KYB's on mine, and I've been prety pleased. They are pretty easy to adjust - the struts have a slit in the top, and the shocks have a knob you can reach under the car. Originally I ran then at about halfway between hard and soft, but then I turned them all the way up just to see what it was like....and haven't looked back. Bumpy roads can be a little hard on the old spine, but the handling is greatly improved.

I also have been using the 5 way adjustable Tokico's, but have never adjusted them either. Tom, what do you have yours set at, and does this work well for both street and strip? When mine were installed we just went with 3. Thanks.

I think I'm on 3. Not sure, it's been awhile.

I also run the Tockico adjustables on the front. I set them at 5 for road race on track, but at 2 for everyday driving.
