I have found a 03 Cobra for $33,000 I checked the blue book and it list for $29,000. The Cobra has 18000 Miles ,chrome Cobra rims just installed with new tires and and new exhaust including an O/R x-pipe,other than that it is stock and looks to be in perfect condition. I need to have of what the average price in your areas are for this car and any thing else I should check for. Thank You in advance for your help and advice.

Check this one out. It is a very well done car, and though driven hard, not abused. It runs very well. It is the car that finished 2nd at the last 411 AX event. He is asking $31k. with less miles, and prolly more mods.

From Ford, I purchased mine with 1900 miles on it and paid 32.5k. Bone stock. Also, if it has new tires (recently replaced) it was probably driven pretty hard. I got 17k miles out of my original tires and I beat on my car like it stole something from me.

Also, look to see if it has the blue paint on the engine. This would indicate a newer build which had a fix for a tic in the original models.

With those miles and that few of mods...he would be lucky to get $26k...unfortunately you'll never get "excellent" price for what KBB offers, Im not even sure why they have that rating on a car...it really depends on how much you wanna spend...personally I wouldnt spend more than $26k for that particular car...oh yeah, not trying to be a d**k, but your buying a used "sports" car, it's gonna be hard to find one that hasnt been driven like it's supposed to be

I paid $34,000 for my '03 new with just 51 miles on it. I do not think mods add anything to the value of a car.

It doesnt add value unless its what you wanted on the car to begin with. Then its a bargin for you.

Well I decided to pass on the 03 and stick with my 97 for now. I think 29,000 around here for the Cobra was a good deal,They did not want to budge on the 33,000 price and when I got them down on price They wanted to jack the payments through the roof imagine that. I agree mods do not value to the car but They do save if They are what you want. The last call was for Their cost and a payment that was still to high for my blood. I did get to drive the car on sunday and I must say very impressive and my son was excited beyond belief. I want to tell everyone Thank You for all the input and help.
