I've thought about getting that one as well....always have wanted it and now it can be done since the Cobra's not the DD anymore. I'd have to get it reinforced a la David's '03, but it'd look sweeeet.

I've been looking for a front splitter for my 96 for road racing and within the last year I've found about three in different magazine ads. If I remember correctly, there are two vendors that now carry a 2000 R-style splitter designed for the 94-98. I think you may have to buy a whole new bumper, though.

yea...personally I don't like the '00 R bumper on our models. The lines of the bumper don't go with the rest of the car. :dunno:

I want one of these - badly. There's a shop in Del Rio TX selling them on Ebay, $240 for urethane, $160 for fiberglass. (Do a search on "94 cobra r bumper") and the obligatory $100+ for shipping. Here's some links:

Urethane: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7985061220&category=36475&sspagename=WDVW

Fiberglass: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7985061620&category=36475&sspagename=WDVW

My issue is trailer clearance. I know that Andy M had modified his front splitter with Dzus fasteners so he could remove the lower lip for easier on/off trailering. I'd have to do something similar or get some extra lumber to ease the transitions up and down the ramp. I don't recall seeing the Dzus on Joe Johnson's 00R?

I know that would look sweet on your race car. I run my car on the street and a splitter does nut give me much clear :twitchy: ants.
