ahh dont bother with that, Ive never been a fan of changing the gas door..some are ok but that one isnt the best maybe one of the billet ones but other than that Id stay away from it.

I agree with Boomer. Don't do it. I think it would take away from the appearance of your car.

Jason-
Sorry you asked? :rotf:

Of course with the KB on the car no one will be able to see the gas lid for very long. Only when it is parked.

Even though iv done a lot of mods to my 03, Iv always been one to try and the cosmetic mods, like the Cobra "R" wing and hood, the wheels ect, ect,

Look as much like it came that way from the factory as possible, In fact before the 05's came out, I had people coming up to me and asking me if mine was the now 2005 model,

My car does not look anything like a 2005 but it also did not look like a car someone put a lot of after market stuff on, it looks to most like its some special factory car, thats why I shy away from stuff like that fuel cover, it just looks after market

Jason,

If I was going to have a billet door cover, it would be an MGW product. www.mgwltd.com It has the snake on it and it would look just as much factory at the Bullitt Mustang door.

JMHO. :)

I don't think it looks too bad, but I would never put it on my car. I do like to see them though, if I were to put one on though I would agree I would buy the one from MGW, with the snake on it. Plus if your a member you get a discount!

I had the billet fuel door on my black Cobra. It was okay but not necessary. I have been contemplating getting a similar one for the silver 04, but there is already enough bling on it (wheels, SS letters, and 3d snake up front). I sort of like the way it hides or blends in than sticks out. I had several people at work ask me why I had not changed the fuel door yet, although on a silver car it would not stick out as much as it did on the black one.
