Much cleaner/meaner in my opinion... How much extra were the flames? It was money well spent!

*makes me wanna go buy one REAL bad... :spimpin:

It cost $50 extra for a solid color match for your car and $75 extra for the flames. For me it was a "no brainer". :D

Silver10th...did you cut down your hood blanket or is that something else? Also..where did you get the snake done in the hood..I like that.

Mike, since you are "Gone" now does that mean I can quit expecting a reply to the email I sent you on 6/22/04?

I have removed the hood liner because they are such a pain to keep clean. The paint under it was just a little thin so I painted it. I also removed the vent covers. The Cobra is a decal I had cut at the spring Auto Fair. ;)

Not a big change but the whine is a touch louder and it feels a little quicker. If I ever change the pulley I think the CAI will really help it. :D
IMO it was worth it just for the looks the added power is a bonus. ;)

Tim,

My 04 picked up 14 rwhp with the JLT and on parts of the graph, it picked up as much as 21 rwhp from my stock numbers. It's a little more then just a slight increase. :D

The whine is definitely about 1.5 times as loud.

Hey gents. Since you're speaking of cai's(don't mean to cut in), Which is better the power tube(ram air)or the jlt cai? trying to choose. The jlt bonus is having it white to match my car and getting ghost flames on it as well!!haha. Cosmetics are always a bonus.
Matt

P.S. your new jlt looks kick @ss man!!!

The JLT CAI will net you more power! Basically since the JLT goes into the fender well you will be receieving more cold air which reduces intake temps and therefore creates more power. The "ram air" intakes pull the air from the engine bay which is hot air and although you will see more gains, not as much as a benefit as the JLT CAI! ;)

It's money well spent!
