I have $2000 that I can spend on my cobra, and have no clue what I should get, since I'm new to the cobra world. What are your guys suggestions? Its a 1997 Cobra with 68k miles on it

Current Mods are:

Ford Racing C Springs
Koni Adjustables
Subframe Connectors
Off-Road X-Pipe
2 Chamber Flowmasters
3:73 gears

Thats all performance wise....I wanna stay mostly performance...Was kinda looking at wheels, but not forsure if I want to yet

I would stay with the factory wheels, I think the 97 wheels are the best out of all Cobra wheels.

Underdrive pullies
MGW shifter

Two mods that will help you performance wise. :)

look in the For Sale section there is a KB supercharger for that price in there, better to get the big things why you got the money then get things that you can save up for in a few weeks, i.e. shifter, etc, plus if you plan on getting a supercharger stay away from items that you will have to take off that you bought like Underdrive pullies

I think it's best to get the supporting hardware for a supercharger first, that way nothing gets over looked when it comes time for the blower.

The best thing to do is come up with a plan before spending this money. Come up with an ultimate goal of what you would like your car to be. Going with a supercharger WILL require much money in the future. Engine rebuilds, broken transmissions, burned up clutches, fuel system upgrades, tuning, maf upgrades, etc etc.

Are you looking for track times? Or just around town power? Or do you like to have fun at the autocrosses and open track events?

You could always get a K&N filtercharger and then spend $1930 on gas. :D
