Looking to Buy this Cobra

Looking to buy a 94 Cobra w/ 105K on body with a new Tremec 3550 and new Central Coast Mustang Gt-40 crate motor, new aluminum drive shaft, u-joints and hurst billet plus shifter along with ssm lift bars and shocks, new compressor for a/c, new tint, new exhaust--shorties mac h-pipe flows and chrome tips. The car also has welded subframes, reinforced torque boxes and 3.73 gears. He is asking $9000. Is this kind of high?? If so what would be a reasonable offer to offer him?? Thanks

If you don't buy it, I will!

:p

I could use another stang to park next to the three I got!

I am always weary about buying a heavily modified car. That one has some serious stuff on it and I can guarantee it’s been raced. The other issue with buying a modified vehicle is that you may be buying another person’s problem. Maybe they didn’t pick quite the right combination of parts and do a quality job on the installation. You could be chasing down gremlins for months.

I’m not saying this is a bad choice, I’m just saying to be careful. Price wise this seems like a reasonable deal. But personally I would wait for a bone-stock car.

If you do decide to buy it make sure you get under it and really check it out. And drive it. See if you can get it up on a lift.

Speaking of bone stock Cobras. . . I have a fantastic 96 Mystic for sale that is bone stock.
