Actually this is from last event at VIR (Mazda Drivers) and this guy was pretty good and I give him point by on back strait but then I was chasing him for 2 laps and then he give me point by. Unfortunately he ends that last session earlier and I was looking for him but couldn’t find him anymore. He was on slicks that only what I can remember. I’m really looking forward to this event especially with that competition in my group. This will be my only 3rd event but since my last event I was pretty much passing everybody I decide to move up so I can have more fun, more competition and less “trains” so we will see if I can keep up with American muscle.

Well it's more like 300 plus AWD :D and I’m still pretty much learning how to keep those horses under control. My goal is 400 whp but since I'm still on stock block with stock internals and 70k miles this is the limit for my car and track events. I’m using only 18.5 psi map for track events and I usually put 4gal of 100 oct gas per tank just to be save.

nice looking car.

CyborgX_CZ 10-06-2009 08:50 AM

Thanks ;)

BTW: Are you coming? Just want to say Friend of mine who happened to be hawk/dba/pfc etc... distributor will be picking up some DBA5000 two piece rotors and there will be super special sweet price for people attending to this event. Don't know the details yet but he also thinks to be one of the stangfast sponsors.

Unfortunately, our agreement with the track will not allow outside vendors that sell track parts, brake pads, rotors, etc...to come on premises and sell anything that has to do with track items. He might want to make sure he understands this before he enters the gates. :(

This has nothing to do with the SCMC in specific but a track policy for all clubs, they already have agreements with CDC and we cannot break those rules.

Of course he knows he did few events before, last one was for Corvette Museum. What you can do is advertisement (giving up flyers and business cards), direct sell is prohibited unless you pay vendor fees. Also there is no room for rotors in our cars anyway, maybe one pair for display.

Post the information up here with prices and then we can advertise it that way before we get to the track.

I will be at his place this weekend so I will find more details if he going to sign up for this.

PS: I don't want to step on anybody toes but I tough you need to be a vendor to advertise on forum. But if that's a not a problem he will be definitely more than happy to put together some introductory package :) Are you guys interested in Racing Stuff or Street or both?

cobrabitn 10-07-2009 11:46 AM

Send me the information via pm and I'll post it for him/you. I need the following information: (If he likes the outcome of the sales, he can advertise with us for next year)

Yes, we ask all vendors to pay a vendor fee, on occasion, if we are offered a discount on parts, we'll let that go through with permission by either Allan or myself.
