How about another 3rd. Who needs to go backwards anyway. :D

I'd just get it repaired Jeff. Good time to put in 3.73's also. Could change the speedo drive gear while the trans is apart.

getting it rebuilt and new clutch. The 94 won't get gears till my 99' does.

Thanks,

I might have to bail on that. I'll check the times and hopefully I can make it. I've got dyno time in the morning and then have to catch a flight early Sunday morning to head to TX. :) If anything I'd make it to have you guys chuckle at my slammed ride height with my new springs.

Ground to fender: 26"
Tire height: 25.4"

Oopsie. :rotf:

If a gear plan is in the future, you might want to put a 7 tooth internal drive gear in the tranny. That way when you change gears out back you can get the speedo exactly or closer than with the 8 tooth internal drive gear.
I changed my internal drive gear when I had my tranny rebuilt, $30 gear, and with 3.73 gears, the speedo is exactly on. And if you decide to go with 4.10 in there, then you would be 5% off. If you leave the stock 8 tooth internal drive gear, then 3.73 would be 5% off and 4.10's would be just over 10% off.
Just a thought.

OK, stock my T-5 isn't rebuildable (w/o Major expense). anyone know where I can find a good used one or someone that has rebuilt (remanufactured) units?
