2015 SVT Superfest - Virginia International Raceway - May 22-24, 2015
 

Come and join the SVT Cobra Mustang Club, Track Club USA, Modular Boss for their annual SVT Superfest to be held on Memorial Day weekend. You do not have to be an SVT owner in order to participate in the event but if you want to drive on track over the weekend, you must be a member of one of these three clubs.

Modular Boss - (Any Boss or 5.0 Mustang) -

The event will be held at the world class location of Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA, just east of Danville, VA. The Fest will consist of three days of open track, an SVT, Shelby, Mustang, and Ford Show, Friday night social cookout, and a Saturday night banquet with guest speaker. Also available will be on site karting, skeet shooting, portable dyno, and more....

There is no increase in the three day registration and if you pay on line it is $650.00 for three days for on line payment. You can save yourself $55.00 by mailing in a check. Your best value is a three day registration as that comes to less than $200.00 per day per entry.

We will be running the VIR full course on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

If you want a $55.00 club discount, you have to register with a check via USPS. This will bring your total to $595.00 for three days.

Do not sign up to be an instructor for this event without being confirmed by Tony, otherwise you may not be approved to instruct. If your name is not on the instructor list, you are not confirmed as an instructor.

His employees sent a check two weeks ago for him as a Christmas present. I couldn't post this till after Christmas.

Ill have to admit that I got out of this at the right time. $650 for 3 track days? I thought it got expensive when it hit $450. Guess this is no longer for the average guy, track expense going up or not. :(

Track rental keeps going up every year. Insurance keeps going up every year. We can always just not have any events because we lost our ass, in the thousands, last year on track events.

Tony, sign me up for the Blue/Advanced Group for all three days! I sold my '04 Corvette C5; making my '09 Mustang GT my primary road course car now. See you all in late May. $595 for early registration & club discount or $198/day is still a pretty good deal when you compare it to other car clubs two-day events, and all the activities taking place in addition to the HPDE sessions. Two days is $550.00 if someone wants to save a 100 bucks. I agree, but if you want to play, you have to...... Also, there are no other predominantly Mustang events at VIR except ours and as many can attest, it is more than just a track event, it's a social event with friends and family.

I agree its an awesome event, no argument there. Had a blast in the years past. :D

Not sure I understand the problem...with the early pay discount it's less then $200/day....still a great deal in my book for full course VIR. I'll be there!

Also the track hotels are not taking reservations on line.

Dell, I think the track is shut down for a few weeks especially since we have an Artic blast coming through here this week. Try again in a few and they should be back up and running.
