They didn't have it on the 04's because Ford did something in the tune or emissions that it passed through barely and didn't get the tax added on. |
They improved the gas mileage rating by 1 mpg according to the window sticker on my 04 vs the rating that was on the 03 and that is supposed to be why there was a gas guzzler tax on the '03 but not the '04.
