I was going to say for those of us that are not members how is that going to work? I figured they would just do the wrist bands like last year.

When you initially get there, anyone participating can get into the facility as they will have a participant list. The membership cards are mostly for people that try to come in after we all get inside and begin the event.

This is technically a closed event but not closed to your family or friends. It's not really anything different than previous years except anyone who tries to come in while the event is taking place will have to have a card to get inside.

Let's keep it simple as there's nothing big going on here.

Yes, we will have a professional photographer there and I'm going to see if we can get someone to do some video for the website for our new introduction.

Once I got signed off last year I took a couple people for rides. Is that still going to be ok this year? My Dad is coming along this year and I was hoping I could peak his interest enough to bring the Z06 next year.

I just wanted to thank everyone for putting on this event! I had a blast yesterday and it was my first time ever on a road course. I am now hooked and highly recommend entering an open track event if you have never tried it! Also, this was very well organized! Now I can't wait for VIR!

All I can say is it was a great time for everyone. I really enjoyed driving Craig's 2001 Cobra at 115-120 mph sideways through the kink!

All anyone could talk about all weekend is going to VIR with us.

Craig,

Thanks for being my instructor. It was definately a great learning experience for me! I will also have some better brake pads on my car next time out. Also thanks for the ride in that mean FR500 Cobra and your one hell of a driver! I left there feeling like I was taught by the best!

Thanks man! Glad you had a great time. Good brakes are a must for both safety and mental confidence. If you know you're going to get the car stopped, you'll concentrate on driving the proper line, and not whether or not you're going to get the car slowed down. I could tell the inconsistency in the brake department was a mental distraction for you, as well as myself.

If you've got any questions, or need any help with anything, just let me know. I'm only a short drive from you (Lancaster). Glad to hear you're hooked on the "twisties"!

Craig

I'm definetly hooked! After I buy a "real person vehicle" (SUV) in May the Cobra will be taken off the street for the most part. I had planned on getting a blower BEFORE I went to CMP but instead I will be sending Max. Motorsports a small sum of money! HP is no longer a concern of mine... handling and learning how to drive is. I want to thank Craig for being my instructer and all the instructors for that matter. Also... thanks to all the club members who put on the event. I'd like to help next time.
Thomas

how long till VIR....
