Ground Wire on Hood Liner
First off, I am assuming this is a ground wire. I recently replaced my original hood liner (97 Cobra) with an aftermarket hood liner from hoodliners. net.
The original hood liner had a wire attached from the body to the hood liner. My question is ..What was this wire for and do I need to somehow attach it back. (It was permentally attached to the original hood liner) or construct something else to do the job. Thanks for help in advance.

Most of the time a wire like that would be for radio suppression.

I thought it was for the radio, too. I took my hood blanket off. I don't listen to the radio, though, so could not tell you if it did anything to the radio.
