Suggestions for a set of track tires!

I hope to run the track at VIR this may, but I don't have a clue as what tires I should use. I have a set of 17 x 9 rims I plan on using for the track I just need tires! Suggestions please!

That depends on your track experience.Street tires are good to learn with because they give alot of feed back before they let loose.

He has no track experience but I would get Nitto NT01 for the track, they are a great tire and I used them all weekend even on the wet pavement, they stuck better than Hoosiers. Matter of fact, we will be getting a discount on tires from a new to be SCMC vendor so hold off on buying anything till we get him set up.
