What I am selling is (1) of my two1995 SVT Cobra 5.0 Mustang Convertibles with a Removable Hardtop. This car has been well maintained and has been garage kept. It has just had installed a brand new FORD Factory hand built SVT Cobra Long Block (NEW NOT REBUILT) Engine installed in it. The Engine has 30 miles on it and carries a 3 year 100,000.00 mile warranty from Ford. So what you are bidding on has a warranty on the engine only. I have the original Ford Factory Window Sticker, Certificate of Authenticity from FORD SVT Stating Build and Production Number, Original Bill of Sale and other assorted paper work. This car is # 53 of the 499 that were produced with the removable hardtops.

In 1995 FORD Produced: 1003 Cobra Convertible Units (including 499 with removable hardtops). This car is # 53 in the production of the 499. Top Speed: 140 MPH 0-60 MPH: 6.3 seconds . The 1995 model was actually the last model that would have the 5.0L as the ‘96 SVT was built on a 4.6L.


1995 SVT Mustang Cobra Production Information

In 1995, the convertible SVT Cobra had a standard production. All were black in color with Saddle leather interior. Available on the convertible this year and model only, was the removable hardtop. The removable hardtop was an $1,825 option which 499 came with. These removable hardtops were originally produced from Ford , are no longer available and parts from the dealer are non existent.
