2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt

My Cobra was hit in the rear and totaled (RIP). I searched for a low mileage 96-04 Mustang and found this 2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt. It was garage kept and had only 28k original miles. Let's hope for no more distracted drivers.

The 2001 Bullitt was inspired by the 1968 film of the same name starring Steve McQueen. It features a Shrader Performance built engine with a cast-aluminum intake, twin 57-mm bore throttle body, increased compression, and high-flow mufflers. They also gave the Bullitt a firmer, lowered suspension (-.75") for tighter handling including tubular sway bars, sub-frame connectors, and Brembo 13" brakes. Special exterior enhancements and interior touches were added and meant to capture the spirit of the movie car. Bullitt badging and a brushed-aluminum fuel-filler door helped complete the look, with a factory serialized identification label included to verify each 2001 Bullitt.
