some 4th of July fireworks pics

Decided to try out the new camera on some fireworks last night. I think they came out alright considering I've never done this before. It was done in my back yard and was shot from different angles. Next year I will go somewhere were there are a bunch!! The camera is a Nikon D80 with the kit lens 18-135mm. Everything was in manual. I set the ISO at 100 and set the aperature at f13 or f11 and the shutter at bulb which was held open you roughly 1-3 sec. All this one a tripod of course. What do you all think. I know some aren't centered but some times they weren't launched high enough.

Those look great! You did an excellent job, especially for the first time at doing it!

I would agree you did a great job for your first time. Now we need to get you a longer lens and try it again next year. We'll get ya to be able to fill up the frame by next year.

Get the AF-S VR Nikkor 200-400 mm f/4G IF-ED (2.0x), or the AF-S NIKKOR 600mm f/4G ED VR so you can let me borrow it.

If I let you borrow it I would never get it back, LOL I am going to be starting another thread on which lens I should get next because I don't really know.
