Build date = 12/22/03, Build #256 of 1,010 Mystichrome Cobras, #1,010 of 3,768 2004 Cobra Coupes. I am in Escondido, CA. I am the second owner of this Terminator, which I bought from Tom up in Palmdale, CA on May 5, 2006 when it had 11,500 mi. on it. He had put a K&N CAI & a Bassani S.S. exhaust on it. It is like new because he kept it that way in his carpeted garage.

My door jam sticker gives the month/year. All 2004 SVT Cobras were built in 12/03 & 01/04 I read. To get the exact date, call Ford SVT @ (866) 377-8862 & tell them your VIN. They should be able to tell you the Build Date.

The original orwner received a letter & certificate with the Mystichrome sequence number & Cobra build number on them. I got mine from my P. O. Ford couldn't re-issue me an owner's certificate, they said.

BTW, a 'Mystic' is a 1996 SVT Cobra w/mystic paint. If you have a 2004 Mystichrome SVT Cobra, it is called a 'Mystichrome', or so I have been told & read. The colors are slightly different. If you see the 2 parked next to each other, you will understand.

There were only 515 Mystichrome coupes & 495 Mystrichrome `verts built and only in 2004. Take good care of your rare beauty!! I know of 1 coupe that was totaled already -not by the owner. I saw a picture of it on a flatbed tow truck.

I just picked up my 2004 Mystichrome vert. How do I find out what build number mine is? By reading all the postings the vin does not contain that information.
