Did the cobra R have rear brake ducts?

I notice on my 95 Cobra the scoops in the quarters actually vent to the wheel well. My friends 98 GT doesn't have this. Were there ducts that hook to the scoop in the quarters that blew air on to the rear brakes on the Cobra R?

Cobra R rear brakes

No they did not. Just the front had the brake cooling ducts.

This was discussed on the defunct SCOA e-list way before there was a SCMC, in and around the 1996 era

I personally realized the change when I purchased my 1996 Cobra, having owned two 1994

#1 yes 1994 and 1995 and a rare few 1996 Mustangs had a functional air passage from the side scoops to the rear wheel well. no one ever found out why it was made functional

#2 sometime between August of 1995 and September of 1995 there was a change in production and the side scoops wer made non-functional
