Performance Exhaust Recommendations

I have a 2001 Cobra and looking to install a new exhaust. I keep coming back to the Bassani exhaust system. I do not want something so loud that it's difficult to hear someone talking or listening to the radio (which I like listening to the engine instead). I do want it louder than the stock exhaust. A real muscle car sound is what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help!

I have the Bassani with BBK X-pipe and it sounds awesome. Had the SLP Loudmouth before and it was TOO LOUD for me.

keep the cats, and you will be fine with what ever brand. It all comes down to the tone you like. I have SLP LM1 mufflers, with cats. I love the sound, and it isn't too loud. No cats increase volume.

Thumbs up thank you

I appreciate the feedback! After listening to way too many youtube & other video clips of peoples exhaust sounds, I've decided on Bassani x-pipe and Bassani Catback SS exhaust. Thanks again.

I do have cats on my car, but I also have long tubes so maybe that's why the SLP's were loud to me.
