Parts Question

Getting ready to do the first tune-up on the '01 since I bought it 2 weeks ago, and I had a few questions for you experts....

Spark plugs-- any specific kind better than others? Denso?

Brake pads?

Brake fluid?

Just don't want to put the wrong stuff on there...planning to go to the open track in a week or two, so I'm trying to get ready....

Spark plugs I like the NGK's, brake pads I would go with hawk, and brake fluid OEM ought to be good enough.

I never road raced before so I am sure someone else will chime in that has some better recommendations. Good luck.

Spark Plugs - Stock
Brake Pads - Carbotech or PF Z's from Autozone
Brake Fluid - Ford Hi-Po fluid or Valvoline synthetic

Once you learn more about your car then you can get more into better pads, rotors, and fluid. This is your first time out, you won't need anything more than your stock parts. Be sure to change oil and coolant if it needs it. If the car starts to run hot, add water wetter.

Have fun!
