Thanks Tony. I will be back next year for sure.

One of the MINI guys here, and I'd like to sincerely thank Tony and Jeff and everyone else for inviting us and making us feel right at home. We did our best to stay out of everyone's way, learned a lot from Scott and got some great track time. We got to drool around a bunch of beautiful cars, and met some great folks. I'll always remember that panoramic view in my rearview of a GT500 coming around 14 sideways behind me. I thought he was just showing off and was going to pass me going backwards.

Thumbs up

Hey, my wife wants her MINI back, when you get it out of your grill, I need to come pick it up! ;-)

How cool to see/hear all that great American Iron rumbling around the track, even if I was in this little bumble bee. The ride in my instructor's C4 was the the best. Everybody was friendly and fffaaassstt, at least compared to me, and the photographer even managed to make my MINI look fast in his photo!

The event was VERY well organized and we had a TON of track time.

I've got several pics, will post some now and over the next few days, as I get more loaded.

And since he is viewing this thread as I am typing, I will give him a thumbs up for being such a good sport. I knew with Craig's car I could have caught Puzzle 13 and Burke and made them hide their faces, too.
What a load of @#$%! I heard the real reason that you didn't bring the red car was because you were scared after all the junk you talked last year. And when you were in the white car I never saw you in my rear view mirror!

All kidding aside ... the event was really good this year. Much more organized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it didn't hurt that I got to run for free! Thanks Parkway Ford, Tony, Jeff, and everyone else involved.

I didn't bring the red "Slowbra" because I already embarrassed your 500 hp Terminator Cobra vs. my 250 hp Slowbra. You would never hear the end of it and I figured I wanted to let you keep your ego inyact.

The reason you never saw me in Craig's car was because I was in front of you, not behind you. If I had seen either you or Burke on the track, I'd have stayed in and kept gaining ground on ya. (This would have meant I lapped you all.)

It's all in good fun and a big "thanks" to you for making lunch both days. I think we can officially call you a "track dawg".

Photos coming soon....
